              科學(xué)家發(fā)現(xiàn)肥胖根源   The secret to preventing and predicting obesity has been revealed by a team of Melbourne researchers, who believe stress and how we respond to it is the key factor to managing our weight.   一只來(lái)自墨爾本的研究團(tuán)隊(duì)找到了預(yù)測(cè)和預(yù)防肥胖的秘密。他們相信,控制體重的關(guān)鍵因素是我們感受到的壓力和我們對(duì)壓力的應(yīng)對(duì)之道。   The scientists from Monash University found that our response to cortisol, a natural chemical released in the body in times of stress, can determine how much we eat and how quickly we subsequently lose weight.   來(lái)自莫納什大學(xué)的科學(xué)家們發(fā)現(xiàn),當(dāng)我們面對(duì)壓力時(shí),人體會(huì)分泌一種叫做皮質(zhì)醇的天然化學(xué)物質(zhì),我們對(duì)皮質(zhì)醇的反應(yīng)決定了我們的食量,進(jìn)而也決定了我們減重的效率。   The study s leader, Dr Belinda Henry said that people with a high response to cortisol are more likely to eat more when stressed and struggle to shed the kilograms.   該研究項(xiàng)目帶頭人,貝琳達(dá)亨利博士稱,對(duì)皮質(zhì)醇反應(yīng)強(qiáng)烈的人往往在面臨壓力時(shí)食量更大,想要減重的困難也越大。   The study showed that it was low responders who would adjust their eating habits and reduce their food consumption while plagued with stress, as well as increasing their physical activity.   該研究顯示,低反應(yīng)者在面對(duì)壓力時(shí)會(huì)調(diào)整自己的飲食規(guī)律,減少進(jìn)食量,還會(huì)增加自己的運(yùn)動(dòng)量。   High responders , would instead continue with their regular eating habits and exercise would not have a great effect on their muscles, leading to rapid weight gain.   恰恰相反,高反應(yīng)者則會(huì)繼續(xù)保持慣有的飲食習(xí)慣,他們的運(yùn)動(dòng)量對(duì)肌肉起不到足夠的鍛煉效果,因而體重會(huì)迅速上升。   Dr Henry said that further research could help determine better and more effective treatments for obesity.   亨利博士稱,他們會(huì)進(jìn)行更深入的研究,為解決肥胖問(wèn)題找到更好,更有效的治療方法。   The study is also looking at the effects of useful stress relieving activities including mindfulness, mediation, yoga and exercise.   這項(xiàng)研究也包括對(duì)靜觀、冥想、瑜伽和鍛煉等有助于緩解壓力的活動(dòng)的效果的研究。
