讀寫任務說明文寫作，要了解說明的主旨以及說明的順序，要求學生按照合理的順序或按一定的寫作線索選用適當的連接詞，將句子連珠成串，使各句連成結構緊湊、層次分明、語義連貫的短文。

Reading is a pleasure of the mind, which means that it is a little like a sport: your eagerness and knowledge and quickness make you a good reader.Reading is fun, not because the writer is telling you something, but because it makes your mind work.Your own imagination works along with the author’s or even goes beyond his.Your experience, compared with his, brings you to the same or different conclusions, and your ideas develop, as you understand his.
Reading can only be fun if you expect it to be.If you concentrate on books somebody make you read, you probably won’t have fun.But if you put down a book you don’t like and try another till you find one that means something to you, and then relax with it, you will almost have a good time and if you become, as a result of reading, better, wiser, kinder, or more gentle, you won’t have suffered during the process.
Unfortunately, with TV broadcasting 24 hours a day, many people have lost interest in reading.Whenever they are free and have some leisure time, they turn on the TV and watch whatever is on.It’s a pity that children today have far less interest in books than a TV set.

Reading or Watching?
Reading, which makes our mind work, is fun and valuable to us.However, it’s a pity that many people, having lost interest in it, prefer watching TV to reading.
I share the same feeling with the author.I think reading is a wonderful thing and I like reading very much.Firstly, reading is the chief means of acquiring knowledge.Books are a treasure house of human wisdom.Almost all great people are great readers.Reading makes a person wise, noble, polite and useful.What’s more,
reading can be a good means of recreation.If the book is interesting or suits you, you can find pleasure in reading it.Last but not the least, reading develops one’s imagination.In short, reading is an active and useful activity for everybody.
But today there is too much for us to watch on TV.There is no doubt that programs are lively and interesting, some of which bring us fun and make us relaxed.However, most TV programs are recreational and imaginary.They are not based on the real life.What’s worse, some violence does exist in some programmes.With harmful effects, such programmes can not help to enrich our knowledge.
In my opinion, reading benefits us greatly.I hope people, especially children, will read more and watch less TV.

Personally, it is necessary for us to read classical literature because they provide us with a great many benefits.Firstly, they broaden our view, which show us different life aspects in different times.What’s more, setting up a number of images of heroes, good classical literature helps us build our personality and the right value of life.We learn how to behave well from the literature.
However, we need to read them in a correct way.We are supposed to choose some that are suitable for us to understand better.If they are too difficult to understand, we will get nothing but only to waste time.Additionally, the content should be close to our life so that we can combine the books with our real life.Anyhow, not all the classical literature is absolutely suitable for everyone without exception.

I would divide the class into groups of 5 or 6 students and give them different topics with a list of words they must use when writing a paragraph or a composition (depends on their level)．Then, ask each group to present it in front of the others.They like and feel important because they can also ask about their classmates’ opinions.

For practice as well as to save time, give the students homework for the improvement of writing.Tell them any story and tell them they will have to write for tomorrow what they just heard, or show them any movie and tell them the same thing.It became more beneficial for me really when I adopted this method here in Pakistan.Thanks.
