【W(wǎng)ould you like to come to supper?】
Would you like to come to supper?你愿意來吃晚飯嗎？
come to supper 表示來吃晚飯，Would you like to?是一比較委婉，客氣的建議或征求對方意見的句型。類似這樣的句型還有Lets do .,Will you do ?Shall we do ?What about ?Why not?What do you think of ?等。例如:
Lets go to the zoo.
讓我們?nèi)游飯@吧。
Will you have something to eat?
你吃點東西行嗎？
Shall we have a rest?
我們休息一下吧？
【W(wǎng)hat about this one?】
What about this one?你看這一個怎樣？
What about going to park next week.
下周到公園怎樣？
Why not go with me?
為什么不和我一起去呢？
What do you think of reading in the classroom?
你看在教室里讀書怎樣？
【W(wǎng)e have our evening meal at about a quarter past six.】
We have our evening meal at about a quarter past six.我們在六點差一刻吃晚飯。
At about a quarter past six 六點差一刻，或五點四十五。表示鐘點時間用介詞短語at +數(shù)字+past（to）+數(shù)字。前面的數(shù)字表示分鐘，后面的數(shù)字表示小時。如果分鐘不超過半小時，選用past（過），如果分鐘超過半小時，選用to（差）.例如：
We have breakfast at five to seven.
我們七點差五分吃早飯。
We go to school twenty past seven.
我們七點二十五去學(xué)校。
【I have quite a lot of homework to do.】
I have quite a lot of homework to do.我有好多作業(yè)要做。
To do 是動詞不定式，在句中作定語，修飾homework .例如:
Do you have any thing to say?
你有什么要說的嗎?
I have nothing to do?
我沒有事情要做.
【Ive no idea.】
Ive no idea.我不知道。
Idea 意思是主意，思想，觀點觀念。例如：
Do you have any idea about this matter?
你知道這件事嗎？
Thats a good idea.
是個好主意。
【Lets make it a little earlier.】
Lets make it a little earlier.讓我們把時間定得早一點。
Make 制造，定制，it在此指時間，作賓語，后面是賓補成份。例如：
Lets make it half past one.
讓我們定在一點半。
We can make it a small box.
我們可以把它做成小盒子。
