A young dolphin has died of suspected dehydration after being paraded around like a trophy and stroked by a crowd of sunbathers who then abandoned it on the sand.阿根廷日前發(fā)生一起悲劇，一條小海豚在被當(dāng)?shù)赜慰拖衽e獎(jiǎng)杯一樣巡游展示并撫摸之后，疑似因脫水死亡。之后還被游客直接丟棄在沙灘！The group of people huddled around the mammal taking selfies after it was found on the Argentine beach resort of Santa Teresita in the north-eastern Buenos Aires Province.事發(fā)地點(diǎn)是在阿根廷布宜諾斯艾利斯省東北部的圣特雷西塔海濱度假勝地。當(dāng)有人發(fā)現(xiàn)一條小海豚后，眾人便紛紛上前簇?fù)砼c它合影。The La Plata dolphin - also known as the Franciscana dolphin can live to be twenty years old.這條小海豚是拉普拉塔海豚海豚 ，也被稱為Franciscana海豚，一般能活到20歲。The last tragic images show the body, abandoned on the sand, as people continue to take pictures.最后的幾張照片上是那條小海豚的尸體，就這樣被遺棄在沙灘上，而還有人陸續(xù)上前合照。

The episode has caused the Wildlife Foundation in Argentina to emit a public reminder about the vulnerable species, which only present off the coast of Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.這一事件引發(fā)了阿根廷野生動(dòng)物基金會(huì)的關(guān)注。該基金會(huì)對(duì)公眾發(fā)出警告稱，這一物種只出現(xiàn)在阿根廷、烏拉圭和巴西海岸，是容易受到傷害的物種，請(qǐng)公眾自覺保護(hù)。The Franciscana, like other species, cannot remain for much time outside of the water, it has thick fatty skin which gives it heat and means that taking it out of the water rapidly causes it to dehydrate and die, they said.該基金會(huì)表示：“Franciscana海豚，和其他海豚物種一樣，不能長時(shí)間的脫離海水，它的皮膚上有一層厚厚的脂肪以提供熱量，因此一旦脫離海水，它就會(huì)迅速脫水死亡”。This occasion serves to inform the public about the urgent necessity to return these dolphins to the sea as soon as possible if they find them on the shore.
